As summer comes to an end...

As summer comes to an end we would like to recap on some of our summer events. This year our office went to the UCLA Dental Symposium conference in Hawaii to expand our education and advance our knowledge and skills in dentistry. Some of the topics at the conference that we found to be valuable for our patients were updating perio health and all ceramic implants. In the conference on perio health and procedures we learned some updated information on regenerating tissue. We were also educated on all ceramic implants and discovered with this implant there are no prosthetic connections where bacteria can grow. This can lead to better gum health and the implants are 100% white. While on the Main Island in Hawaii we used our free time to discover some of the island. A couple of our favorite places that we went were the Kilauea Crater & the botanical gardens. The Kilauea crater is the youngest and most active volcano. After we toured the crater we ate at the The Rim, which is located in the Volcano House hotel and overlooks the crater. At the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden we saw many different tropical plants and a few amazing waterfalls. We are excited to bring what we learned from this conference back to our patients as we strive to advance the care we provide to you! This was an amazing opportunity for our office to not only gain valuable information in dentistry, but to bring us closer as a team. We hope everybody had a great summer!
